We are required to uphold the National Minimum Standards for full day care issued by the Welsh Assembly Government under section 79C of the Children Act 1989. These standards are used by the Assembly's Care & Social Services Inspectorate for Wales (CSSIW) when determining whether providers of full day care are providing adequate care for children under the age of eight and are otherwise complying with the relevant requirements.
The new format carried out by the CSSIW can be a Baseline or a Focussed inspection. This means that we are subject to annual inspections that can cycle between a full inspection or a focussed one. The inspection is structured around four themes:

We feel that regulation is extremely important to ensure that all providers meet, develop and exceed the standards required when caring for your children. We really value feedback from parents as this helps us to improve our service where necessary; if you have any comments or questions please don't hesitate to speak to us.
Our latest inspection was a baseline inspection on the 26 February 2016. The inspection went really well and the inspector was very complementary about the methods we employ to care for the children, the setting and staff.
