About Us

Our motto: working together, we make your child stronger

Meithrinfa Siwgr Plwm - Childrens Day Nursery stands for educational specialists, wholehearted commitment and comprehensive child care. Increasing demands are being made on child care facilities, since all parents want the very best for their children, right from their very first learning experiences. Our nursery school achieves both objectives by offering space for moving around, plenty of opportunity for play, a small library and various facilities for creative activity. Our aim is to support each child through his or her own development.

Our Ethos

Babies and toddlers need continuity, we believe that it is important to work together with parents to ensure that the transition from home to nursery goes smoothly; for this reason we take an holistic approach and focus on following the home routine so that your child settles quickly.

Children love to be creative and to interact through role play activities. We feel that this helps them to explore and develop their practical and social skills. Through themes and planned activities our experienced staff will guide your child to achieve their full potential.

National Award Scheme

In order to attain higher standards, we have committed the Nursery to the Healthy and Sustainable Pre-school National Award Scheme via Public health Wales and the Welsh Assembly Government.

For more information on how we are progressing with the National Award Scheme please see our News page.

Your Child is Our Priority

We have a good understanding of children's lives and their social contexts, basing our care around them. Supporting and encouraging personality development, autonomy and creativity are top priorities for us. Developing social interaction and understanding differences in others also plays an important role in our work. We also support you, the parent, in bringing up your child.
