Our Ethos:
Babies and toddlers need continuity, we believe that it is important to work together with parents to ensure that the transition from home to nursery goes smoothly; for this reason
we take an holistic approach and focus on following the home routine so that your child settles quickly.
Children love to be creative and to interact through role play activities. We feel that this helps them to explore and develop their practical and social skills. Through themes
and planned activities our experienced staff will guide your child to achieve their full potential.
In order to attain higher standards, we have committed the Nursery to the Healthy and Sustainable Pre-school National Award Scheme via Public health Wales and the Welsh Assembly
Government.
For more information on how we are progressing with the National Award Scheme please see our News page.
Your Child is our Priority:
Here at Siwgr Plwm, we have a good understanding of children's lives and their social contexts, basing our care around them. Supporting and encouraging personality development, autonomy and
creativity are top priorities for us. Developing social interaction and understanding differences in others also plays an important role in our work. We also support you, the parent, in bringing up
your child.
Our motto: working together, we make your child stronger!
All-round care for your child means to us:
- language development
- social development
- personal development
- physical development
We are members of the NDNA - National Day Nurseries Association, a national charity
which aims to promote quality in early years provision and enhance the development and education of children in their early years.
